Discover the Fun in Saanich - Scavenger Hunt

Discover all you can do in Saanich this summer. Participate to win amazing prizes while having fun!

How it Works:

The contest is open to everyone and runs from July 1st, 2012 to Labour Day (September 3rd, 2012)

Pick up your “Discover the Fun” booklet at any Saanich Recreation Facility, the Cedar Hill Golf Course or at our designated Saanich Sunfest Events or download an electronic version.

20 Tasks or Clues to unravel are in your “Discover the Fun” booklet. Track your successes in the booklet and turn it in anytime during the contest to RECEIVE TWO FREE DROP IN PASSES just for participating. (Please note: at least one task needs to be completed in order to receive the passes)

Booklets can be handed in to any Saanich Recreation Facility Front Desk, the Cedar Hill Golf Course or the designated Saanich Summer Sunfest Events.  Tasks do not have to be completed in order and you don’t need to complete all tasks to be eligible to win a prize.

Look for the alarm clock symbol because some tasks may be time sensitive and will need to be completed on a specific date.

All Booklets MUST be turned in by Monday, September 3rd to be eligible for one of 91prize draws.

On Friday, September 7th, 2012 Booklets will be drawn from four prize categories:

Tier One:  Completion of 3-7 tasks, 50 Books drawn

  • Prizes: One 50 Swag Collections (beach bag, tote bag, waterbottle, golf towel), 3x single use passes
  • ($50 Value)

Tier Two: Completion of 8-14 tasks, 30 Books drawn

  • Prizes: One of 30 Swag Collections: Boomerang Zip Laptop Case, Duffle Bag, containing a Saanich a water bottle, and a 25x complimentary single use passes.
  • ($110 Value)

Tier Three: Completion of 15-20 tasks, 10 Books drawn

  • Prizes: One of 10 i-pod shuffles, Each ipod comes with a 3 Month Pass ($120.00 value) redeemable at any Saanich Rec Centre and a $25.00 i-Tunes card
  • ($215 Value)

Tier Four: All 20 tasks completed –  1 Book drawn

  • Prize: One i-Pad and $150 i-Tunes card, Saanich Recreation Annual Pass,    Boomerang Zip Laptop Case
  • ($1200.00 Value)
